Sleep Deprived?

Sleep Deprivation can be a big issue as noted in my blog "Resting to Live" from the November 2nd.
If the ill effects of a late night out, cramming for an exam, or attending to a restless infant are relegated to a few nights per month there are some amazing products that will work wonders on impoverished skin.

Lack of a decent nights' sleep shows up more readily around the eye area due to the fine texture of the skin. Yet, the rest of the face, neck and decolletage need not be neglected.
Here are a few "work wonders" products for the morning after.

Absolute Skin Recovery Serum from Orlane.  The name says it all.  Sweep over entire face after cleansing and apply Absolute Skin Recovery Care moisturizer.  Your skin will be back to its glowing ideal in no time.

Absolute Skin Recovery Eye Serum is another top choice as well as Baume Efficace eye and lip gel from Sisley.  For a pocketbook brand, try the Eye Roller from Garnier.

No matter what products you decide on using, nothing will work as well as a full night's rest to help you live your beauty.

Resting to Live

We all know that sleep is important and when we don't get enough of it it shows.  From puffy eyes and dark circles to crankiness and overall malaise, lack of sleep can deaden us to the beauty around us.  A new report from Psychology Today helps explain a why this is.

Sleep and Beauty

Is sleep a secret to looking good?

                 Sleeping Beauty

Why sleep? people ask me. I give them a welter of reasons starting with avoidance of death. Sleep deprive any animal and it dies–rather quickly.
Yet fear of death does not seem to motivate people to take more time for rest, or to even pay attention to its advantages for personal regeneration. So next I turn to standard medical issues - active rest helps prevent heart disease and stroke; prevents depression; increases stamina and immunologicalresilience.
