Radiant Eyes

I hate waking up to dark circles. Whether they are caused by stress, lack of sleep, poor nutrition, too much fun (as if that could ever be a problem!) or just plain old "thanks mom" hereditary, I want to put my best face forward and my best face does not include dark circles. I have used many concealers and eye creams over the years to help combat the issue, and I have my favorites. And then I tried the new Radiant Concealer from La Mer. This lightweight cream to powder concealer is just what the doctor ordered after a fun night out or a long day at the office ( that and a coke and some of Orlane's Morning Recovery Concentrate). The light velvety texture glides smoothly over the surface of my skin while the unique polymer mesh technology allows me to build layers if I need to for a fuller coverage and never looks heavy or made up. The wear-ability is incredible! Lasts all day without caking or creasing. Even though this product is made for the eye area I found it perfect for those days when I want to hide a blemish or a spot and not do a whole face of foundation. There are a lot of concealers out there and some of them I still dearly love. So in addition to all the great benefits that I mentioned already for La Mer why switch? Sunscreen. The new Radiant Concealer has an SPF 25 and in my book that makes all the difference.

I'll Take A Winner

I love a sure winner and Orlane has a few new ones. Their Gel Minceur Destockant (lipo reducing body slimming gel) has been awarded First Prize for slimming body care by French magazine L'Official. Prizes are awarded by ten readers and consumers who impartially test products over a period of one year. It was described as " a smooth gel that is absorbed instantly to even out obvious cellulite areas... working like magic.." In my opinion that is a strong endorsement for the product.

Even though it's not bathing suit season yet - or if it is, the tail end - I'd invest to keep my second best feature catwalk ready. You know I'll have to do a comparison test because Revive also just came out with a new cellulite control gel (which I have, and I like) so I'll keep you posted on the results.

The other winner from Orlane is their new Foaming Mousse Cleanser. Now if you have ever read my blog or even glanced from the sidelines you would know that I am addicted to foaming mousse cleansers. I love their light and airy texture and how squeaky clean my skin feels, without the squeak. And if you read you would know that my favorite up until now was the foaming mousse cleanser from Sisley. Well, (drum roll please) I have a new one... ORLANE.

A break-through in fast, quality skin care has been accomplished in the form of Mèreadesso.
